Living gluten-free doesn't mean you have to give up comfort food and take-out favorites like Double Chocolate Brownies and Mama's Spaghetti & Meatballs, Pizza and Pad Thai. When Elisabeth Hasselbeck was diagnosed with celiac disease, she set out to adapt the foods she loved to be deliciously g-free. The result: a fantastic collection of gluten-free recipes that the whole family will love. The follow-up to Elisabeth's New York Times bestseller The G-Free Diet is much more than just a cookbook. You'll get great advice on going gluten-free without fuss, choosing from today's best tasting gluten-free ingredients (they've come a long way, baby!), getting fit the g-free way, even prepping multiple meals ahead of time, and more. I like the choice of foods and that they are g-free is great

Had order the book for my sister who found out she didn't have to eat gluten free. Looked thru the book and it looked like a "winner" but since she wasn't going to use it, I returned it.

Very disappointed! The author advertises healthy living, so I thought this book would be HEALTHY for those of us that do NOT tolerate gluten. Instead Hasselbeck replaces gluten with other junk foods – NOT healthy at all. I do NOT recommend this book even a tiny bit. And IMHO, Hasselbeck lacks knowing much about healthy living tips including exercising.

I was not very impressed with this book. I don't feel that it gave me that much information about being Gluten free. The recipes were not even that good. I learned more about gluten free eating and cooking from a book called Gluten free for Dummys. I don't recommend this book at all.

Have known not to consume wheat if at all possible and these look like great food ideas.
