I've always been a fan of Brain Froud's fairies. This is by far the most beautiful collection of his artwork I have ever seen.

A great book of Froud's work with a great concept idea of the book's design. Brian, a true master artist of the Faery realm, portrays convincing images of creatures from folklore found worldwide. His peices are so successful because his style and methods mimic those wild and spontaneous lives of his subjects. I was hooked on Froud's work when I came across "Faries". I have been an admirer and fan every since! He has yet to disappoint me.

WARNING: Brian Froud's imaginative artwork is wonderful. But it is NOT your usual fairy-tale artwork. His is the work behind "The Dark Crystal" and "Labyrinth":It has a darkness to its beauty. Wonderful to behold, but disturbing for some people.
