Actress Carole Barber has played many roles not only on screen, but in real life as well. A mother, divorcée and, sadly, widow, she’s now added novelist to the list. But the more Carole works on her book, the more she realizes it is her own life playing out on the page and, suddenly, she wants to go back. It was in Paris that Carole abandoned her one true love, and it is to Paris she returns, never suspecting a terrorist attack would intervene.
When Carole awakens from a coma she has no memory of who she is. Nor does she recognize her ex-husband, children or the handsome man whose eyes seem to look into her soul. Matthieu de Brillancort lost Carole once. This time, he won’t leave her side until she remembers their love of a lifetime.

This was just another easy read. It holds your interest, but nothing like her books from back in the day.
Same type of characters - always beautiful or handsome, talented, successful and rich. I did notice that she didn't repeat herself as much as in some books. Great book for a plane ride.

She repeats herself many times, and it's all so predictable. Her characters aren't believable. I suggest that her fans read some of her very early novels, you'll see the difference! Her writing style has changed and not for the better.

This is a story about a famous woman who is very down to earth ,loves her kids, and is still friends with her ex husband. She goes on a trip to Paris because she used to live there and loved it.She is in an accident and recovers and comes face to face with the love of her life from when she lived there before. Together they heal from their wounds from when they were together and build a new relationship for the future.

This is the second DS novel I have read in years. I quit because it was to familiar. This was about the same. Rich people overcoming crazy obstacles. To much drama. I read to get away from the drama.
