There is no blackboard in the sky on which God has written your purpose, your mission in life, writes Walsch. So your purpose is what you say it is. Your mission is the mission you give yourself. Your life will be what you create it as, and no one will stand in judgment of it, now or ever. This quote just makes me so sad.
The "blackboard" is called the Bible. God's purpose for your life is written in the Bible. It's just a matter of reading it. He created you, therefore He is the only One who can judge you. The only positive thing I find about this book and movie is about being positive about your future. But if God is not the leading the path to a better future, as you would pray steadfastly for, then you may find it winding downhill. Guaranteed.

Judy G....Applause, applause, applause...! Now,that's out of the way I'm sure I'll read this book,I,ve read others on the law of compensation & I'm sure this one will be great also..! I just watch the author on Oprah & enough was said to make me elligable to leave a note..!

i havent read the book but did see the movie.
the secret is "the law of attraction" that like energy atracts like energy.
it made sense to me, but then i started to think about magnets...and kinda got stuck. with a magnet, postiive attracts negative....

Just A Question

Not one of these reviews have encouraged me to purchase this book. So I have a question - What is the secret? Is it that much of a spoiler it cannot be exposed in a review to gage the reader into buying the book/DVD? Also is the premise of this book that everything we need is already inside of us void of God? The reason I ask is this God is the head of my life and Neale Donald Walsch comment about the book has made me think twice about buying it or the DVD. So fellow avid readers tell me something different about the Secret that is not already here.
