The ancient Celts had a deep respect for nature and their gods—their lives were imbued with a sense of the sacred and they attached symbols to every feature in their world.
Celtic Messages provides an introduction to these Celtic ways and symbols of long ago, applying them to today. You'll learn to use them as guides, just as the Celts were guided by their deities, animals and talismans.
Drawing on the symbolism and imagery of Celtic mythology, 52 round cards, beautifully illustrated by Emma Nelson, present 52 carefully selected ideas representing the four aspects of Celtic culture: Places, Helpers, Tools and Totems. Each card contains an image and keywords to be used as affirmations and 10 ways of spreading the cards are described, designed to suit past, present and future situations. The cards are fully described in the book, including insights into the importance of the symbols for the ancient Celts and for us today. The kit (a One Spirit exclusive) includes a guidebook, a 32-page coloring book of Celtic mandalas for creating your own mandala and a linen pouch.
You'll soon gain a deeper insight into your inner self and rediscover your connection to the natural cycles of our world.

Celtic Messages has helped me learn about the old ways of healing and insight. The cards are very easy to use and interpret.

these celtic cards are lovely, although they are made of recycled paper which I am all for, the letters showing through on the art work are very distracting for me, but it dose'nt bother me enough to send them back,I'm an Irish las who likes my celtic stuff so I've gotta hang on to them. I also like the coloring book which gives the names of the mandalas, you can copy and color as many as you like, and the bag has the salmon mandala if anyone wants to know what is on it.

I have found these cards to be a wonderful tool to understanding the day. I use it with other oracle cards each day for a handle on what to be aware of. The mandalas that are included are fun to color, also.

In general, I am very pleased. The cards are pretty and give good readings, and the bag and books that accompany are helpful. There are a couple of things about it that I take issue with, however, but they aren't big enough problems to warrant a bad review in general.
The problems are these:
1. The Morrigan is drawn a bit too cutesy, and that should not be. The Morrigan is definitely NOT a cutesy deity.
2. One of the cards is "Ear of Corn", which is not Celtic. Corn was originally something from the Americas, which the Celts didn't have at all.
Generally, though, I really like the deck and am very glad I acquired it.

I absolutely adored this deck. Everything is just perfect. The cards are lovely and feel good in your hands...they give you an amazing linen bag that perfectly suits the mood of the deck and the book. I loved everything about it and the readings I have done have been dead-on perfect!
