I purchased this book for my daughter for the winter solstice this year. We have several books on spirits, fairies, trees, ghosts etc. This one is quite good. The author clearly explains how the spirits can helps us, who they are and what purpose they have.... but you have to decide if you want to welcome them. We have specifically welcomed the faeires into our home and garden. Always on the lookout for others.... Enjoy.

Its absolutely facinating! I keep it on my coffee table and flip through it randomly! It's indepth, informative, and essential when doing any spirit work. A must have for anyone practicing the craft!

WOW! Loved it. The cross refferences were so helpful. If you're looking for information about beings from everywhere, this is a great book to use as as starting grounds.

Well researched and chock-full of information. Reading this book is fun since references are made to other spirits in the book, so I jump all around reading the links. If it had illustrations of all the spirits, this book would be perfect.

I really love this book it was really interesting, I have added it to my other collections which are, the element encyclopedia of 5000 spells and the element of witchcraft which are all excellent.
