James R. Lewis’ and Evelyn Dorothy Oliver’s The Dream Encyclopedia is the ultimate dreamer’s companion, containing hundreds of dream-related topics and symbols examined and explained. Exploring the world of dreams, this reference spans over 250 topics, from art to history to science, including how factors such as ESP, literature, religion, sex and medical conditions can all have an effect on dreams. Dream symbolism and interpretation are examined in historical, cultural and psychological detail, while an updated dictionary offers further insights. (Dreaming about teeth, for instance, can indicate control issues.) So dream on—and when you wonder, “What in the world was that all about?”, you’ll have the answer at your fingertips.
